What are cold sparkler fountains?

First, they’re not cold… that’s why there are so many safety restrictions surrounding them. Yes, you can touch them while they’re on, then same way you can run your hand through a flame quickly without being burned.

What you’re witnessing is a combination of chemistry and physics. Our machines emit a tall shower of tiny, rapidly cooling, grains of metal, oxide, and quartz.

They are heated to over 1100°F internally, then rapidly cooled as they are blown into the air. As they are very hot at one point during the reaction, if they hit something extremely flammable long enough, it can cause a fire.

The term Cold Sparkler Fountain is misleading - but it’s the most searched term on google (hence why we still call it that) but we want you to know what you’re getting.
